Food: We absolutely do not advocate the use of a Raw diet due to many human life threatening bacterias found in meat products.
Kibble: After a lot of research and trial and error we have settled happily with Petcurean Go! Kibble, Turkey, duck, chicken formula and Life’s Abundance Instinctive Choice Wet. Petcurean is a “Super Premium” grain free kibble and only one of a few foods that supply all 11 essential Amino Acids that cats need. It also is a company that has never had a recall for their food products. A Secondary kibble product that can be purchased at Petco or PetSmart is Solid Gold -Indigo Moon kibble. This is a grain free kibble and was once our go to food.
Wet: Life’s Abundance Instinctive Choice is a grain free wet food that has superior ingredients, organic chicken, turkey, liver and shrimp. A secondary wet food is Blue Wilderness grain free kitten wet food. Although I won’t use the dry due to multiple recalls, the wet seems ok as a secondary source for wet food. Don't leave out the wet! It is so imperative for kidney health that cats receive a daily diet of wet.

Treats: We love Whole Life freeze dried cat treats. The cats do not like the beef flavor. They love the chicken. We also use Greenies for tartar control with good results.
Litter Boxes:Our cats are used to many different shaped litter boxes but are not use to covered boxes.
Litter: We recommend Worlds Best Corn litter. There is a nice Lavender scented type as well. Although by itself the smell can be a bit strong. Mixing it with the regular scented litter is nice.
Scratch Posts: The only scratch post brand we use and recommend is Smartcat.
Cat Towers: The best brand we have come across is Armarkat. Although more expensive than the other towers the quality is far better.
Cat Carriers: Purchase a carrier that will hold up to a 15-20 lb cat. I prefer a hard carrier as I can wash it. I also prefer a carrier that has a front and a top door, but that is not totally necessary.
